10-Month Update – Next Level Unlocked!

I cannot believe that I am 10 months out from my gastric sleeve surgery. Talk about time flying by. And what a journey it has been so far.

This past month brought so many sugary temptations – probably for the first time since the Christmas season – extra stress, a new couple new tools for my journey, and lots of appointments between the kids and I.

I talked about the tools already, and will have a post about my acupuncture experience up soon. Today I get to celebrate.

I finally made it!! After six months of playing with the same 4-5 pounds on the scale, Mounjaro helped me push through my plateau and hit the next big milestone. Hello ONEderland!!!!

After two full weeks on 2.5 mg of Mounjaro I am down over 8 pounds, and under 200 pounds for the first time in far too long. I think the last time I saw the 190s was in 2020. It’s crazy what kind of mind f#$* this whole numbers game can be!! But I’m really trying not to focus on that scale too much.

On to week 3 of Mounjaro and month 11 post-op. Let’s see what kind of crazy stuff I can get myself into over the next little bit!
