The Mama: As The Mama, I'm the author of this blog. I'm a 43 year old mama to four energetic kids - Em is 15 and in 10th grade, Kenzie is 14 and in 9th grade, Abby is 12 and in 7th grade, and Jackson is also 12 and in 6th grade. Our awesome blended family became official in the spring of 2014 when I married my amazing husband - AKA The Hubby (and daddy to K & J). I started this blog for the exact same reason I named this blog... Mama Needs a New Pair of Pants AGAIN! Two pregnancies, 9 years of infertility, two nasty little tagalongs named PCOS & a newbie, Fibromyalgia, a strong addiction to most carbs, the stress and chaos of a blended large family with everyone always on the go! I've had my share of ups and downs on the scale, with different sizes across the board. This blog has been my sounding wall, my diary, my stress reliever, my savior, my motivation and so, so much more as I continue to strive for a smaller pair of new pants! This is my journey. This is me.
